Job Requirements

• 5-20 years of related site/civil land development experience

• BS in Civil/Structural engineering

• PE license required, or ability to obtain within a year

• Knowledge of local city, county and state land use processes and regulations, strongly desired

• Proficiency in technical skills including site design, stormwater management, hydraulics, hydrological analysis, grading, and other site development related designs

• Demonstrated proficiency in Carlson Civil Suite with the ability to design site layouts from concept through completion

• Ability to interact well with co-workers, clients, and regulatory agencies

• Experience in report and proposal writing a plus

 

Job Responsibilities

• Calculate stormwater pre and post-development flow rates and velocities for stormwater management

• Prepare site, grading, utility, soil & erosion control, and isolux plans

• Design basins and stormwater conveyance systems utilizing BMP's

• Construction administration responsibilities include site observation, contractor RFI's and shop drawing review

• Assist with topographic surveys and verification of existing site features

• Local Township Zoning, Land Development, and Storm Water Ordinance review
