Job Responsibilities:

Mainstay is in growth mode and is looking for a dynamic and collaborative internal recruiter with proven contacts in the engineering field to help us grow out team, define a strong employer brand and ensure Mainstay provides an industry-leading employee experience. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is self-motivated, and able to own and drive the entire recruiting process from creative sourcing to offer acceptance. This role is a combination of in person and remote.

  • Oversee and drive the recruiting process from job posting through onboarding

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand needs; determine qualification criteria and evaluation methodology for each position

  • Source candidates creatively and through multiple channels (e.g., social media, networking, proactive outreach, job boards, job fairs)

  • Implement and oversee Applicant Tracking System (ATS)

  • Create and manage recruiting/interviewing process and supporting procedures and templates

  • Provide an excellent candidate experience and act as the point of contact for all candidates throughout the process (interview prep, communication, status updates, and any questions that arise)

  • Interview candidates during various hiring stages, including phone, first-round and second-round interviews

  • Proactively report to hiring managers on the status of open positions

  • Analyze turnover and retention rates to forecast hiring needs

  • Conduct competitive analysis to understand the hiring landscape

  • Update job descriptions

  • Occasionally travel represent Mainstay at university job fairs

 

 

Job Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as an Internal recruiter or similar role

  • Solid understanding of full-cycle recruiting using various interview and evaluation techniques

  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems

  • Working knowledge of labor legislation

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Knowledge of engineering and/or pharma field a plus

STRUCTURAL PROJECT MANAGER - Cherry Hill, NJ

As a Structural Project Manager, you will be responsible for the execution of projects starting with proposal writing through project close-out. You will facilitate solutions, organize and control project design and documentation, mentor and oversee staff designers and engineers, ensure effective resource sharing, and be responsible for project financials. You will develop and maintain client relationships and promote our firm in Commercial, Residential, Industrial, Institutional and Pharmaceutical sectors.

You will be required to interact with a facility end-user to identify, visualize and implement improvements in the as-built environment relative to infrastructure, and operational efficiency and safety initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • BS in Civil/Structural Engineering

  • 5 years minimum structural design work experience

  • 2 years minimum of project management experience

  • PE license required

  • Strong communication and technical writing skills

  • Experience in passive and active fall protection system selection is a plus

  • Knowledge and competency with OSHA 29 CFR 1910 Subpart D Walking-Working Surfaces Regulations and ANSI Z359 is a plus

  • Experience with Revit software desired

CIVIL PROJECT MANAGER - Blue Bell, PA

As a Civil Project Manager, you will be expected to be the lead engineer of a project team and the direct coordinator with other design discipline leads.  You will be required to be the responsible engineer for your own projects, delegate tasks, and mentor junior engineers, in addition to performing detailed calculations yourself while generating documentation for issuance.

 

You will be working under the direction of the Department Manager, as well as the firm’s Associates, and Principals. You may also be encouraged to assist with client interaction on behalf of Mainstay Engineering Group, Inc., and assist in the development of new clients and project work as part of your role as a Civil Project Manager. 

Additional Job Responsibilities:

  • Minimum 10 years experience

  • Calculate stormwater pre- and post-development flow rates and velocities for stormwater management.

  • Design basins and stormwater conveyance systems utilizing BMP's.

  • Oversee and ensure the proper preparation of Site Plans, Grading Plans, Utility Plans, and Soil & Erosion Control.

  • Provide construction administration services including site observation field reports, contractor RFI responses, and shop drawing review.

  • Periodically assist with or oversee engineering topographic surveys, and provide verification of existing site features via site observation and investigation.

BIM SPECIALIST – Blue Bell, PA

Job Responsibilities:

As a BIM Specialist, you will be expected to coordinate, configure, customize and maintain BIM, REVIT and AutoCAD 3D and 3rd party software, develop and implement BIM, REVIT, AutoCAD 3D standards, workflows, families, and templates, automate processes and routines to improve productivity, perform project related support and tasks on BIM projects, files, and models. You will be responsible for BIM project set-up, interfacing with partner firm BIM teams, quality control of models, and training of employees relative to BIM standards and procedures as well as troubleshooting issues. It is desired that you will participate in and with Industry Organizations such as AUGI – CAD and BIM User Group, Autodesk University, local user groups, local colleges and universities.

You will be working under the direction of the Operations Principal and will have direct contact with our partner firm BIM teams on behalf of Mainstay Engineering.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years production experience in design, drafting and engineering.

  • Working knowledge of REVIT, BIM360 and AutoCAD 3D including but not limited to sheet setup, program version differences, use of 3rd party program add-ons (BIMRx), plotting and printing.

  • Familiarity with industry BIM compliance requirements.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Basic PC experience in Windows environment, working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook, Teams, web-enabled applications and database software.

  • Ability to meet challenging work goals, maximize efficiencies, use time productively, maintain time management and prioritize tasks with minimal guidance.

  • Have an exceptional work ethic, maintain confidentiality and firm proprietary information, and demonstrate professionalism.

  • Be a self-starter, work independently and work well as part of a team.

  • Have desire to pursue continued education on BIM related topics.
