EV Fleet Depot

Mainstay provided civil engineering services for the EV Fleet Depot at the Duke Energy Emerging Technologies Organization (ETO), a first-of-its-kind performance center designed to model and accelerate the development, testing, and deployment of zero-emission light-, medium-, and heavy-duty commercial EV fleets.

Located at Duke Energy’s Mount Holly Technology and Innovation Center, the project incorporates advanced microgrid integration to support sustainable energy use and grid resiliency. Our scope included site improvements design and detailed documentation, encompassing structural foundations for EV chargers, light pole bases, gates and fencing, protective bollards, and other permanently affixed equipment necessary to ensure safe, reliable, and scalable site operations.
