Mainstay provided various civil engineering services for the 2,500 sq ft Aquaculture 2 Building at UPenn’s East Marlborough Township, PA facility. The building accommodates four groups of 330-gallon tanks, each 5-foot in diameter and 2 2-1/2 foot deep. Each group of tanks has its own filtration and water system. There is also a small laboratory for onsite testing of water samples.​​​

Performed storm water calculations to determine drainage modification impact on the existing permitted site master plan and storm water management plan.

Civil design, storm water management plan & Erosion Control Plan for the IsoColic Barn area including grading/drainage, erosion/sediment control and utility plans.

Storm water management/grading plan & Erosion Control Plan for Myrin Pond; and modified grading and drainage at the existing Myrin Pond.

Structural engineering services included a 3,000 SF digester building on the New Bolton Center campus in Chester County, PA. The building was constructed using concrete foundations, a structural steel frame system and metal panel exterior. The interior of the building is comprised of several interstitial level platforms and a monorail through the center of the building.

A 300 SF single story masonry was added to the campus in Chester County, PA. The building was constructed using concrete foundations, masonry bearing walls and timber roof framing.

Mainstay Engineering provided structural and civil engineering services for the University of Pennsylvania’s Microbiology building at the East Marlbourough Township, PA facility.
