OVERVIEW

PennFab Inc. Fabricators were responsible for fabricating the steel support structure for the new canopy at SEPTA’s Ambler Station.  SEPTA designed the structure, but it was up to PennFab and Mainstay to provide the joint connections and tube splices and ensure that they were suitable for the required design loads.  Mainstay provided shop drawing review services, structural calculations and professional engineer’s certification for this critical station along SEPTA’s busy R5 corridor.  All of this was successfully accomplished on an expedited schedule.

Mainstay provided structural steel detailing and shop drawing review for a new SEPTA R5 rail station.
