Mainstay provided basis of design, civil and structural engineering and construction administration services for the design of a 200-ton salt storage facility.

The structure, access drive, turn-around and hardstand area were located on a site formerly supporting a 500,000-gallon fuel oil storage tank and containment berm.  Civil design included re-grading the site to provide stormwater management within the remaining containment walls, erosion and sediment control measures, compliance with the county soil conservation district requirements, and a near balance fill excavation.  Structural design documentation included design of 6 and 8-foot-high retaining walls supporting base design reactions for a pre-engineered, tension fabric structure.
