OVERVIEW

Structural design support for a 45,000 SF, two story office/warehouse building.  Extensive deflagration venting calculations were performed in accordance with Factory Mutual requirements for large dispensing areas interior to the building.  Final exterior façade of the building was metal panel with a steel frame support.

Mainstay supported Adhesives Research throughout the design development process to help them achieve the best possible final product.  Numerous façade constructions were explored including precast and metal panel.  Construction support was provided to design and detail OSHA compliant tie-off points during the erection process.  Portions of the second floor were designed to accommodate heavy equipment loading.
