OVERVIEW
This project involved the adaptive reuse of an existing historic structure on the 0.42 acre site. The two-story masonry building was originally constructed for use as a school. Renovation was to take place in order to convert the building into six (6) two-bedroom apartment units.
Two building additions were required in order to accommodate new circulation space. The site was evaluated for the adequacy of existing parking and zoning requirements. A set of plans was prepared which included new lighting, landscape screening and paving as well as temporary erosion and sediment controls. Mainstay attended meetings with the borough to discuss the project.
