Job Responsibilities:
Plans, directs, and manages a major segment of the engineering activities for the reporting unit with budget responsibility for the engineering functions managed. 2. STRUCTURAL DESIGN ENGINEER I - SOMERSET, NJ
Applicant BS degree and EIT certification required, MS degree in structural engineering a plus. Must have 1-5 years experience in building design. Experience with AutoCAD, Revit Structure and structural design programs such as RAM, RISA, STAAD and TEDDS preferred. Steel, Concrete, Masonry and Timber material design experience preferred.

4. IT SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR - AMBLER, PA
Maintain a multi-server Microsoft system environment and provide hardware and software helpdesk support for a 25 user network infrastructure. The primary site is in Ambler, PA and a secondary site is in Somerset, NJ. Maintain peripheral equipment usage.
Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications: Demonstrated system maintenance experience in a Microsoft based, multi server, multi user environment. Education and/or Experience Requirements: 1. A+ certification or equivalent and hands on experience. 2. College coursework or BS/BA in information technology or other related degree is a plus. Combination of experience and education is acceptable; however, experience must be relevant to the position in order to support task requirements. 3. Minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in a fast-paced environment. 4. Must have prior experience and competency with multi user, Microsoft networked systems. 5. Strong focus on accuracy, strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and multi task in a fast paced environment. 6. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. 7. Excellent time and resource management skills, including status reporting skills. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, Clearance: Preferred: MCP or MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) Computer Skills: Understanding of MS Outlook, experience with Windows 2003/2008 and XP/Windows 7 (32 and 64 bit) operating system, experience with MS Office 2007/2010, experience with data servers and RAID disk sets, understanding of TCP/IP network protocol, experience with switched networks, routers and firewalls. Ability to assist as Information Systems Security Manager is a plus. Understanding of engineering software such as AutoCad, Revit and Risa 3D is a plus.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Design and maintain server system and daily, weekly and monthly backup process for multi server, multi project system. 2. Provide computer/network support (helpdesk) relating to software and hardware problems reported by users. 3. Maintain knowledge of operating system and application software being used to provide high levels of support to users. 4. Monitor and evaluate efficiency of software/hardware usage, providing items to be covered in training of users, making them more efficient. 5. Install new software applications or hardware on the LAN. 6. Add and maintain users on the network; assigning application access, ensuring security, and maintaining their configurations are within standards. 7. Track, assign, purchase, and install workstations and printers on the LAN. 8. Gather prices on equipment and supplies as needed. 9. Provide written document on a monthly basis which defines current status and upcoming needs of network which would require purchase of additional hardware or software. 10. Monitor and report licenses on applications to ensure compliance. 11. Maintain current Mainstay Engineering Group, Inc. (MEG) equipment inventory and software licenses inventory. 12. Maintain telephone system. 13. Maintain, upgrade, & monitor router, FIOS lines and network switches; system software, and hardware. 14. Maintain server side antivirus software and firewalls. 15. Maintain MEG Intranet, Web Site and VPN tunnels. 17. Carry out other such duties as may be assigned or requested. 18. Other duties that may be assigned to meet company and departmental goals and objectives.

5. ENGINEERING INTERNSHIP - AMBLER, PA
Mainstay is proud to support university students in the development of tools needed to succeed in today's demanding world. In addition to participating in Drexel University's co-operative education program, Mainstay also offers internships from time to time for students that do not have a program such as Drexel's. In the past, Mainstay has employed students as summer interns from Villanova, Temple, Georgia Tech and Drexel Universities.

Job Responsibilities:
The engineering intern, under the direction of a professional engineer, will assist our engineering staff in the design and preparation of structural and civil plans. Primary responsibilities will include drafting of structural and civil plans, the structural design and analysis of building components, and performing research related to projects. Interns may also be eligible to accompany engineers on site visits and client meetings. Previous exposure to engineering design and experience with AutoCAD is recommended.
